Due to the Corona virus outbreak and to do as much as we can to adhere to social distancing guidelines protecting both customers, employees and partners, with immediate effect our 2 man delivery service is on hold. However, you will be pleased to know that we can still offer delivery, which will be by either our parcel network or pallet carrier.

If your delivery will be by pallet, this will be a kerbside delivery and you will be required to dispose of the pallet thereafter. Our couriers will call you in advance as per our normal delivery terms below, to arrange with you a suitable delivery day.

At checkout please now just select our standard delivery charge, as room of choice or other additional options will not be available. All other delivery terms remain the same.

Delivery and dispatch

Dispatch date is when your order is sent to our delivery partner. This is not the date it arrives to your door. The estimated dispatch date can be found next to each product on the housecosy website. Additional information on our delivery process and how long after dispatch you should expect delivery can be found below.

European delivery

we offer delivery to Ireland, Germany and France, please contact us for specific pricing.

Made to order product

Some of our product is made to order or we allow you to pre order the product before the stock arrives in our warehouse, which is why you may have to wait a little longer for some pieces (but its worth it… trust us!). Our dispatch dates are therefore estimates and can be subject to delays. Please be aware of this if you are working to a time scale. We cannot be held responsible for any costs incurred due to delayed projects.

Delivery charges

The size and weight of your order will determine the carrier we use to ship out your order. Our deliveries, in the majority of cases will be via our 2 man service or directly dispatched from our suppliers.

The standard delivery charge is based on the subtotal of the item(s) in your basket before discounts and delivery pricing is applied to your order. Below you will see a breakdown of delivery costs:

Services

For smaller items we will use our parcel network provider where this is deemed more suitable.

We offer our standard 2 man service to the front door and our premium 2 man service which will deliver your product to room of choice – please specify your requirement at checkout. Please Note, packaging will not be taken away

For large orders to room of choice it is advisable to have suitable coverings to protect the carpets and flooring in your home.

Our delivery partner will be in contact with you to arrange a delivery date, and will ensure regular contact is maintained. Our delivery partner will also call between 30 minutes to 1 hour before arrival on the day of delivery (in case you need to pop back home to let them in!).

For heavy furniture (e.g. Extending Dining Tables, ready assembled sideboards), deliveries above the third floor are dependent on access to a lift. Our delivery partner can only deliver items up to the third floor which are 75kg or less if no lift is available.

Please remember that it's your responsibility to check that the items will fit through doors and staircases in their packaging before you place your order.

Weekend and time slot delivery

Deliveries are made during weekdays. If you would like a Saturday delivery this would be an additional £60 charge. Please choose this additional option at checkout

For AM/PM weekday requests this would be an additional £15 charge. Please choose this additional option at checkout.

If you have already placed your order and selected a standard weekday delivery, we are unable to change your order to a weekend delivery.

Grouped delivery

We get it, everyone is busy! Wherever possible we will offer you the ability to group your order, so that all the items arrive on the same day, to make receiving your order more convenient. Please note this can only be arranged if;

  • all products can be sent with the same carrier
  • If the difference in lead times isn’t too large
You will also have the option to not group your order and receive multiple deliveries as and when your products are ready to be dispatched, if, for example, you want one of the items delivered as soon as it becomes available.

You’ll still only pay 1 standard delivery charge per order even if you want your products at different times.

Please Note: we charge extra per delivery for weekend services, so if you choose to get your items delivered separately, it will cost you more.

Upgrades

Standard delivery is a fixed cost per order.

If you wish to upgrade to a premium service (e.g. Saturday delivery), we will charge you an upgrade option per delivery.

If you have chosen to group your delivery and have 3 items in your order, you will only pay the upgrade once (saving you money).

If you have chosen to ungroup your order and have multiple deliveries, you will pay an upgrade cost per delivery - but you can choose which products you’d like the upgrade on.
