United KingdomMedia unit was heavy and well made. Clean lines and the screws and bits were of good quality and held everything very well. Has solid support beam at the bottom (see picture) so there is definitely no fear of collapsing (apparently 10kg in each side and 15kg on the top). Assembly was easy, need some strength to drive the screws in on some parts but I guess it meant it is not made with flimsy boards. Although the manual says two people assembly, it can be done with one person. Lots of storage space to hide PS4, Switch and kid's stationary etc. The oak colour is also a close match to our Ercol dining set. There are two holes in the back on each side for cables, so thats helpful when for plenty of cables/wires. We adore the doors and have been looking at the one at John Lewis too, but we settled for this one as it looks more stable and has more storage. We bought this when there were no reviews, we were just trusting the Housecosy brand having good reviews on Trustpilot. And we were not disappointed! So I wanted to submit a review for this media unit and help those who are still deciding to purchase this brilliant piece.
United KingdomReally pleased with our new TV unit. We had been looking for something similar for a while, but everything we'd seen elsewhere was out of our price range. So glad we found the Austin range and are now looking at buying the sideboard for our hallway as we love it so much. You have to build the unit yourself, but instructions were good and it went together easily in no time at all.
